All:
I wanted to take a moment and tell you about a couple of different ways to get the latest security information. It can be a daunting task to keep up with what's happening in the computer security world, let alone learn how to use all of those security tools that keep coming out, so here are some resources that I produce to help you.
In collaboration with White Hat World I have been speaking on a monthly webcast called "Late Breaking Computer Attack Vectors". This is a free webcast open to the public (free in that you have to listen to a five minute vendor presentation when listening live) that discusses the latest topics in computer security. I format the webcast such that I discuss the top 3-4 latest trends in hacking, security research, and methods in use by attackers. I then discuss defensive measures you can take to protect your network and your users from these threats.
The webcast is held on the last Wednesday of every month at 2:00PM EST, details on the next one are below:
When: Wednesday, April 30, 2008 2:00PM EST
Duration: One Hour

To listen live you need to register and when you login during the webcast you can chat live, ask questions, view the slide presentation and listen to the audio.
For OSHEAN members I will be recording the audio and sending a link of each month's recording and slides for you to access immediately following the webcast. These materials are normally not available to the general public unless you have registered for the webcast beforehand. So, if you can't make the live showing, don't worry you can listen any time. In the next few weeks I will be setting up a podcast feed and download site specifically for members to tune in.
If you prefer a weekly format my self and fellow OSHEAN member Larry Pesce still produce a free podcast called PaulDotCom Security Weekly, a more detailed hour+ show that discusses the technical details of the latest security news, vulnerabilities, and research. This podcast is archived and you can subscribe via iTunes. You can also listen to the weekly podcast live, typically on Thursday nights, 7:00PM EST via uStream.
Enjoy!
