This webinar will explore the power of social media for building a conversation and crowd-sourcing a school's story in order to promote a positive school culture and amplify student voice. Jason Markey, Principal for East Leyden High School, will share how to empower the digital citizens in your school with hashtags, collaborative blogs, and more. He will be joined by Tony Pecucci, a Technology Teacher for Leyden High Schools District 212, who teaches the district’s required Digital Literacy course. We also will hear their intentional focus on the need for digital literacy education. This live, interactive event is geared towards educators and leaders at any level of education who want to use social media to create a positive culture within their schools. Jason and Tony will field questions from attendees after their presentation. Join them to get started with social media in your school.
