|Spotlight on Kevin Longo|
Meet Kevin Longo, OSHEAN Network Systems Administrator.
Kevin's primary responsibility is monitoring the overall health of the network, particularly for K-12 and libraries. He works with members and vendors to troubleshoot issues and to seek timely resolutions. Kevin and the Beacon 2.0 initiative play a vital role in education, government, and economic development by enabling and maintaining a gateway for communication between organizations in and around Rhode Island.
Kevin Outside the Office
Kevin has always had a passion for learning, and although it's not part of his day-to-day responsibilities at OSHEAN, Kevin enjoys working with teachers to find creative ways to incorporate technology in the classroom. With a B.S. in Network Engineering and a M.Ed in Education in Technology, Kevin is always trying to use his education to further the education of future generations.
What Members Can Look Forward to
The OSHEAN Member Forum is a great event where members can learn more about the improvements being made to the network from the network professionals themselves. The forum also serves as a great opportunity to hear about what initiatives other institutions have undertaken.
