OSHEAN is pleased to announce a new series of member meetings, First Friday Forum!

Please join us on Friday, July 11th from 9am - 11am at the OSHEAN offices in North Kingstown, RI. This session will cover the essential elements for planning, designing, budgeting, implementing, maintaining and assessing a comprehensive information security program.

A high-level course outline includes:
1. Covering the basics
2. Defining the problem
3. Designing a solution
  Step 1 - Establish program goals, objectives, critical success factors
  Step 2 – Defining security controls
  Step 3 - Apply security controls to critical asset groups to create managed assets
  Step 4 - Establish security program governance, budget, resources, and implementation roadmap
4. Building a Security Operations Center (SOC)
5. Continuous auditing and assessment
6. Summary: Putting it all together
