OSHEAN is excited to introduce our newest service, Software Defined Wide Area Networking (SD-WAN). This service has been designed to meet the needs of small to medium sized locations. It is an alternative to costly last mile connections such as frame-relay, T1 and in certain cases, fiber. Our implementation of SD-WAN has an advantage over the competition by building directly into our Beacon 2.0 service. By leveraging Beacon 2.0, we are able to seamlessly deliver SD-WAN to your branch site(s).

SD-WAN typically uses a commodity business class Internet connection, which is also the foundation of our model. For an organization or other provider to accomplish remote site connectivity, an additional device is required to terminate the remote connections, typically at the head-end or data-center. This means all site-to-site traffic will be taxing the current Internet subscription. In many cases additional planning is required to ensure you account for this additional overhead.

This is not a one size fits all solution, but we feel once you had a chance to read the white-paper you will have a better understanding of what this service can offer.
